The service was amazing and the waiters were extremely nice and helpful. The food came almost instantly after ordering.

Tidy neighborhood Mexican restaurant that's surprisingly good for being in a strip center. The food was very flavorful, fresh and plentiful.

Used to be great, but service has went down hill. There are better options in town.

This place was an AMAZING gem to find. Very authentic experience. They speak to you in both English AND Spanish. All while making the experience fun. Our kids loved it here. The food is amazing and incredibly delicious. The burritos are gigantic. I'm a big man and could only finish half! The doctor of the place is amazing as well. It looks as if your in a villa! There are beautiful paintings and sculptures on every wall as well. We WILL be coming back!

Best Mexican in town. You will get your food before your chips are done. Friendly staff and great food. Can't beat the margarita specials. We usually get pollo sinaloa and La Fonda tacos. Regulars since they opened.

Only place I want to eat my Mexican food. A friend took me here and I have taken 9 people back on different occasions. They all said we need to come back. A+

Charged me $1 for Togo fee when the virus has everything Togo there were 5 of us everyone got charged $1

Great food. I was there on a busy Friday night. They were able to seat the group of four adults within 5 minutes. Our server was busy but took great care of us. Food was served fast and hot. Huge portions of food. The cost is in line with other Mexican restaurants in the area. Although not my favorite Mexican restaurant, it is in the top of my choices. We didn't have margaritas so I can't rate those yet.......hang in there i will be back to try them! :-)

The quality of the food was very good. From chunky tomatoes in the salsa, peas in the rice, a very polite and friendly team, there were enough pleasant surprises to make me come back.

They are open & ready for dinner. It has been awhile since eating out ( CV-19 and all) and Mrs and I wanted Mexican. Since I was heading over to Edwardsville, we jumped in the car and came to La Fonda. The pace of the workers was extended only by the speed of the cooks. The La Fonda Seafood plate was awesome! Grilled shrimp and white fish plus a steak & chicken combo fajita plate = leftovers! $30 for 2 people. 😁

I couldn't recommend this restaurant enough! The food was amazing and the prices were incredibly fair given the portion sizes. Our server was very attentive and even guided us through ordering our meal in Spanish. Everyone was very kind.

Went there yesterday for dinner with my girlfriend, left without leaving a tip. First time I’ve ever done that which should tell you how piss-poor the service was. Had an older man as my waiter who sat down with other waiters as I needed salt, napkins, hot sauce, and refills on chips and drinks. It’s not like they were busy or he had refilled our items once already. He literally disappeared after he took our order and didn’t come back until my food had arrived AND gotten soggy from sitting for so long. Do better on slow Monday afternoons. That’s embarrassing.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Gross. The salsa tastes like tomato paste and the burrito tastes like it has pizza sauce all over it. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO!!!

This place is so good!! Definitely recommend! The food is fresh and tasty. Great customer service and there is plenty to choose from the menu. We got Carne Asada tacos and mexican guacamole. If we ever come back to the area we will be back for grub at La Fonda!

Went here for lunch because of the many awesome reviews. Food was delicious but the staff was unwelcoming. Waiter treated me like he wasn’t happy I was there. They also didn’t give me all of my change? He looked at the coins in the drawer and just shut it without giving me my coins. Terrible experience and if I ever come here again it’ll be under duress. There are other Mexican spots INFINITELY better than La Fonda.

Our waiter was amazing! My little girl is learning Spanish in school & he was helping her learn by asking her order in Spanish. He is so friendly & welcoming! The food is always so delicious too!
